My daughters decided to make Valentine presents for their teachers this last weekend and I'm just so proud of their results, so I thought I'd share. They did everything themselves, while I sat back and supervised. Except I did need to help my 5 yr old with some of the weighing. My picture taking didn't end up very good, the colors are much brighter in person :)

My 10 yr old's Black Raspberry Vanilla soap. She tilted the loaf mold at an angle because she wanted 1/2 of the loaf brown and the other 1/2 swirled blue and purple. Her swirling is a lot more pretty and has more contrast then what the pic shows. She researched swirling and did Soap Queen's faux swirl technique. (I love that she's been researching soaping all by herself :))

This is my 9 yr old's Japanese Cherry Blossom soap. The top layer is pink/clear with fine white sparkles and the bottom layer is solid pink.

My 5 yr old's solid sugar scrubs. They're scented with a combo of watermelon and rose, which she renamed "Rosy Melon". They actually smell pretty good.

Here they are all packaged. Each teacher got a Valentine gift bag with 2 soaps & 2 sugar scrubs. The girls picked out the ribbons. We put the ingredient labels on after I took the pics.

The girls were so proud of themselves when they were all done :)

Aww, they look so fantastic!
Wish my daughter was interested, you're so lucky, I hope their teachers appreciate and enjoy them. That tilted soap is especially pretty :)

Wow, that is really impressive and creative. They all did a great job. Kids are amazing. :D

Thanks guys. My kids said their teachers love their presents & my oldest daughter said that her teacher was showing all of the other teachers. That made her feel so good :)
