So happy my Bebe stamp finally came today!

It felt like a long time to wait, but it was worth it, I love the stamp! A couple of soaps I did too deep, guess you have to get the hang of it

Thanks, Bama- it's OO, CO, PO, Shea & Castor. The FO is Dragon's Blood, I was dying to try it, I hear so much about it. I got it from NG. I just cut it today, so I'm not making any decision on the scent yet, but so far, so good and it's pretty strong.

So dumb question, how do you get the stamp to imprint? Get it hot and it melts in?

While the soap is soft you just put in on top of the soap and get a rubber mallot or hammer and give it a tap and it cuts into the soap. You can make your own stamps if your arty with plaster and do the same thing.

I actually cut these soaps and stamped them the same night. I probably should have waited a day because I think I pressed too hard on a couple, while the soap was relatively soft. I think what makes these stamps special, and so easy to work with, is that they are formed out of a very clear acrylic block.
You can see just where you are positioning your stamp. I didn't even have to use a mallot, Relle, you just press it in gently until the flat edges of the stamp meet your soap surface. They are really very nice, it was worth the wait!
