 my car has been broken into and the weirdo that did it, left my DH's professional video camera, and lights and other paraphernalia that goes with the camera (thank goodness) but dumped out his backpack that was on top of the camera and stole the backpack. it wasn't even a really cool backpack... :? ...it was just a plain black one.

then i took DS to the Dr this morning and he has Scarlet Fever. :(

on the plus side, i am getting a new roof on my house today. :)

So sorry to hear about all your troubles, Krissy.

Maybe the new roof will stop the rain from pouring down on you. Hope your little on feels better soon.

he is doing much better today, thanks!
he has been able to keep crackers down so i think i will give him a "real meal" for lunch.

the roofers are done and it looks so nice. hopefully nothing else goes wrong now...

Yay for new roofage! I'm glad you didn't lose all the video stuff, what a bizarre thing to take instead of the "goods".

We've got the sickies here too, not as bad as scarlet fever but just enough to make my 6 year old miss all week of school. Glad to hear your little guy is better :)

Yikes! I'm sending some good mojo your way :)

We're sick here, too. 4 out of 6 of us have fevers, headache & sore throats. Strep throat's been going around at school, so if we don't get better in the next couple days, we're going in to the doc.

thanks everyone! Ian spent the week with a fever no matter the meds he was taking, i finally figured out that he had a virus on top of the scarlet fever. i ended up with the cough and really high fever and body aches he's had, just not the sore throat stuff.
this is his last day of staying home from school, tomorrow he is well enough to go back. yeah!! :D

Oh you poor thing! I totally feel your pain about the sick munchkin. Today marks 3 weeks straight that we've had a sick kid at home. *sigh* First one of the 12 year old twins, than soon as he was better, the 10 year old, than moved right to the other 12 year old.. ARGH! The first 2 just the flu, the 3rd one.. strep throat on top of the flu. Poor thing :( Temps up to 104.2 and all. He had kidney disease about 3 years ago from strep that we didnt' know he had. I know all about that wonderful Scarlet Fever! Now I know the signs to look for so it doesn't turn into the nephritis that follows the scarlet fever. UGH!
Hope all is better by now for you!!!
