What are the differences of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate?
I found a room spray that proudly proclaims on it's label "Sodium Lauryl Sulfate Free" and the second ingredient is Sodium Laureth Sulfate.(SLES). From a quick wikipedia and Google search the only thing I can tell is that the SLES MIGHT be contaminated with dioxane which is the scary thing.

I'm not an expert on the subject, but I do have some SLES on hand to play with. I bought it instead of SLS because of what I'd read about the SLES being less of a skin irritant than SLS. Hopefully more will chime in.

There is lots of info on swift crafty monkey blog about this topic so that might be a good and reliable place for you to start reading. Although I'm not sure why either would be a concern in a room spray as the main issue I'm aware of with both is skin irritation.
