For my birthday recently, my husband gave me a Prodyne Cheese Slicer (link to it on Amazon). He'd kind of hinted about getting a loaf mold cutter, but I hinted back that as a hobby soaper, I wasn't comfortable investing in a fancy set-up. So apparently he did some research on the matter and found that some soapers used this cheese slicer (I'm not sure where he conducted his research!). I've only used it a few times so far, but absolutely love how cleanly and straight it cuts into soap. For once my bars are actually uniform. If it lasts, it'll be a great tool in the growing arsenal of soaping tools!
