I've also had good results using the fluffy underbelly fur donated by my cat :)

I have bought liquid silk from BB. Is liquid silk just as good as Tussah silk? Are there any differences?

I imagine the results would be the same in soap. The only real difference would be price. The liquid silk is great for lotion, conditioners etc. I have both but I wouldn't put the liquid in soap because it is so pricey and I think you would need a lot.

I would save the liquid silk for leave on products and use the fibers in CP.

I use tussah silk and don't have any discoloration at all. I buy mine from soapmakingresource.com. It's labelled as cruelty free silk.
