Does anyone have any experience with silicone molds from Freshware company? I'm considering them for salt bars as I can get individual bars and don't have to fuss around with the cutting/crumbling adventure.

I am not familiar with the company, but I do my salt bars in Crafter's Choice round silicone molds. Easy and beautiful results.

Hi, I bought a couple of the Freshware molds from Amazon. The sunflower mold and an oval (8) mold. They work perfectly fine, but the entire mold is very flimsy. If you place the mold on a baking pan/sheet before filling it works. I usually just use them for my left over batter. I tend to get more ash, but I think it's because most of the time it doesn't gel in those molds (and I don't put a heating pad under them).

HTH! If you want square, I would suggest Brambleberry's mold with individual square cavities (looks sturdier) or someone had a Crafter's choice mold with individual cavities for sale in the Member's for Sale items.

Thanks. I'll give them a try but keep this in mind when using.
