I was just watching about it on the news. My heart goes out to everyone affected. The evil in this world still continues to surprise me.

And a school stabbing in China on the same day. I've been snuggling my toddler close since I heard. I'm terrified of him starting school this coming year.

We are so heartbroken for all the parents and families of the victims in CT. They are going to need our prayers for a very long time. I can't wait to pick up my other daughter from school so we can all be together.

Just awful and sad beyond normal understanding. What is wrong with these young men I want to ask and the answer is obvious, sick. Why aren't they thinking about pretty girls, marrying someday, and hopefully having a good, long life. I listened to Obama speak about this on the news today and when he says he will do something about this violence I am so behind him.

I work in a school. They came around saying we were going to have a lock-down drill and I wondered why it came up so suddenly. Then at lunch I heard why. It is so sad. Too many crazies in our world.

I cannot allow myself to think about the scene law enforcement must have walked into when they saw all the bodies of the little children.

You are so right, Esther. My DH is a retired firefighter, and he never recovered from carrying out a child who was a victim of smoke inhalation. To see the children who had been shot would be unimaginable. Prayers for those community servants, too!
