Shiny black calendula

[Obsidian]

This is one weird looking soap. It has calendula infused OO and the ground petals in it. Colored with charcoal and some black eyeshadow which gives it a unusual shimmery look.
It a bit darker in real life and looks a lot like graphite. I expected it to be real ugly but once I cut it, I was happy. Scented with coconut lime and juniper breeze blend. Made HP.

I lined my mold with a garbage bag, it made nice textured edges.

It lathers slightly grey, not bad at all.

Do actually use eye shadow, like from a cosmetic case that you grind up, or what?

Yes, I used actual eyeshadow but I buy the little jars of loose powder. Most of the color is from activated charcoal, the eyeshadow was just to help deepen the black.
