Hi there,
since changing to a different supplier i have awful problems with graininess in my (shea butter) body butters. The shea butter seems fine - doesnt smell or look odd - but its driving me mad. I melt very slowly over a double boiler. Have tried both fast and slow cooling. Nothing seems to work. Should i just assume that this shea butter batch may be rancid or the like and order another from another supplier?
Bit gutted as i actually bought 5kg.....but if it means getting away from the awful grainyness i guess i'll just write it off as experience....
