Shaving soap foaminess!

I posted the recipe I'm using in the CP forum a few days ago. Didn't get any feedback and didn't want to be a nag so I just went for it LOL I made it tonight (HP) and used a bath poofy on a sliver of some of the finished soap and got this seriously amazing lather... the pic doesn't show how creamy and awesome it feels though! I can't wait to shave in the morning

That looks great. I'll look for your recipe and copy you. My new job wants me clean shaven every day and I get bad razor burn on my neck when I shave more than twice a week so maybe some good hand made cream will help.

danny p, I would suggest to make it without scent just in case, or maybe lightly scented with a less irritating EO. My fiancee has to shave most days for work as well with the same problems. Make sure to run the recipe through a calculator.

Thanks Amy. I Google essential oil for razor burn and got several references to lavender so when I can make it ill probably try that.
