Save-On Foods approached me earlier this fall to be able to carry some of my product. Through a couple of meetings it was decided they wanted to carry my CP Shampoo Bars based on customer response to the product. The order was placed and then we started all the paperwork that needs to be done in order to be in a large grocery chain such as this. So here we are and the product has finally hit the shelves and I am so stoked!

How exciting!

Maybe I should give yours a try. I've never been able to get CP shampoo bars to work for my hair, much to my sorrow.

Thank you so much! As of Thursday they were almost sold out of the Beer Shampoo & Conditioner  I've gone through 40 bars of beer shampoo on my kiosk too as well as 18 bars of Lemon Lime, 17 of Blackberry, 20 of Lavender, 15 of Cucumber Melon, 19 of Coconut and 14 of Pine Tar..... I would like to say they are a breakout success for me but I've been making them for over 3 years now  I'm really hoping that with the success of the beer shampoo & conditioner that it will get pulled into other stores now too. 8)

Great job Lindy! I love your labels too! I'm sure other stores will want it with a proven track record of sales. We have a health food store that buys products on a 'Guaranteed Sale' where there is a written agreement to buy back any unsold product after 3 months (it could be longer). It may be a great way to get your foot in the door of other stores.

If you set up a table with some info about how you make them, and have samples for them to pick up and smell, maybe even have a drawing at the end of the day for a free bar it increases sales:)

Thanks Sunfloweracres - I actually don't do guaranteed sales but in January I am planning on going in and do a demo type of presentation to explain how it is used, why it is different and better than other shampoos as well. Right now they are almost out of the beer shampoo and the others are moving now too.

Once I get through and past Christmas (major nap time needed), I am going to start pursuing the rest of the chain to get shampoo into the other stores and then start pursuing other chains. I'm already in a health food store chain with my tooth soap and I need to do some more work on those types of clients too. Lots of wholesale work to get done in 2013....
