I have never used soy wax in a shampoo bar in my life. I use classic natural shampoos without sulfates and other chemicals because my hair is thin, and my scalp is very delicate, so I can only use natural shampoo for hair, preferably more expensive. I use wax to remove blackheads. I recently learned this from this article -- Does Waxing Remove Blackheads? | Best Hair Advisor. I used to think that wax was only able to remove hair. Then I came across an interesting article that said that wax can remove both hair and blackheads from the face for a long time.

Exactly, @Gaisy59, I was typing this response as your post came up.

@stephpull Please don't take this as criticism, but everything is made of "chemicals," including our own bodies. Also, there is no universal definition of "classic" or "natural," either. The word "shampoo" originally referred to non-soap cleansers for hair, but some people now make soap for hair that they call "shampoo."

My point is that with the words you used, everyone is going to interpret your post a bit differently. It helps us understand and have a fruitful conversation if you can be more precise with your words. EDIT: also, the site you linked is pure advertising, not scientific. With no identification of who is behind the site, it's not a source that I'd consider reliable.

Weird timing aside, that's particularly off-topic because nobody talked about having soy wax in the finished shampoo bars, but soap made of soy wax, which is something entirely different.
