HUGE fan of dawn! That stuff will strip residue off of anything, hehe! I usually rinse my soap stuff (either hp or cp residue) in the sink and then throw everything in the dishwasher by itself...and then wash with dawn anything that can't be put in the dishwasher. I usually don't mix food dishes w/ soap dishes in the dishwasher because of eo's/fo's...but that's just me. We don't have a septic, but really glad to see this thread to pay more attention to pipes - our plumbing needs replaced anyways and I don't want to have to fix problems before we have the money to overhaul...sheesh...but soap...is worth the risk. :wink:
