I'm a newbie, I just make my first 1-pound cold process soap today. I used the milk carton as the soap mold. However, after 3 hours as I looked at my "soap" and I saw the separation between the yellowish liquid and the oil layer... ( What should I do (
I use olive oil, coconut oil and Castor oil to make my soap. I wasn't sure if I got false trace... I stirred my soap mixture for 45 mins but it was not thick and hard yet. It was a little thick.

I thought my soap mixture was in light trace or medium trace, thus I poured it into the mold.
