I have had two different shops in my town approach me about selling my soaps in their shops on consignment. Has anyone done this? What do you do about insurance? I know RLI only covers if you sell from home...
Thanks for any info. :)

I won't touch consignment. The store has little vested interest in maintaining your producs, which means you have to make sure that everything is just right, clean, etc. Plus, frankly, I like to get paid up front for my products that go into stores.

The stores love it because they get the profit but don't have to invest.

Pass.
