I did three batches tonight, and on top of that, mixed scents in little mason jars for this weekends work. I have massive pressure in my nose now, feel kinda nauseated, and can't really smell the soaps curing on my shelves at all...I can't tell if they've faded really quickly or if I just overloaded my senses. Does this happen to those of you who soap for a living? How do you cope with it?

Certain scents give me headaches but not nasal issues. I agree W/ carebear. As for headaches youo just have to learn what scents to avoid.

I dont soap if I have any sign of a headache coming on or dont feel well, but ive never gotten a headache from smelling fragrance. Do you have your soaps curing in living area? If so, I would move them.

loss of sense of smell is quite common with a sinus infection.

can you smell other things and just not your soaps? does leaving the house and returning after an hour help?
