Salt Question

I've ordered some pink Himalyan Salt for some salt bars - this is the first time with this salt. My question - will it stay pink in the soap?

I tried it once, it faded to a light tan, almost no color.
I tried it with the large crystals, not good. The soap was blocky, crumbly and didn't cure evenly. Also, didn't last near as long in use as fine grains.
The fine grains made a much better soap.

Thanks Deda! I ordered the small ones. Too bad about the colour though. Guess I'll have to use it for Bath Salts then... :?

Lindy, I know they will keep their colour in MP soap base.....not much help then, am I? :wink:
