I use the Rosemary Mint FO from WSP.

I use green clay to color my soap. The color turns yellow on the top, on the peaks of the soap.

Has anyone had this happen?

Is there anything I can do about it?

Thanks,

Lily

I've noticed my peaks change color too. There's not as much soap there, so the light shines through it. Also if you gel there it may be burning off the color in some of the tiny places. This is theory on my part. I understand what's going on there, but I"m not sure I have the words to explain it properly.

Thank you, melstan

No gel ... Is there anything I can do about this. It's not an attractive color change!

It sounds like an oxidation reaction.

Do you spray your tops with alcohol or cover them?

Then it's most likely an oxidation reaction. Can you cover them to keep the air off them?

Thanks Genny
I did this new batch as a rebatch and added the Rosemary Mint to the renatch - no color change - looks great!
