these soaps were also part of my thwarted swirling attempt from yesterday. the white spots you see dispursed throughout are the lighter color soap i tried to swirl into the darker rosehip blueberry seed soap. i do like the color of the rosehip powder and i like the contrast with the blueberry seeds. if i ever do get a swirl to work, the drinks will be on the house! ;-)

oh i literally had to cut the mold off of these bars....luckily it was one of my purchases from the dollar store....but my goodness it was tough to get off!! it was very flexible, but somehow the character of the plastic was such that it made an extremely tight seal w/ the soap.....moral of this story...stay away from those cheap drawer liners for molds...they look like they'll work great, but for me, NOT. like the swirling

well, i think they've got a lot of character! :D

as they dry the color should brighten up a bit.

next time you have a sticky soap, pop it in the freezer for an hour or so. i will usually place waxed paper on the bottom, which helps release the stubborn ones.

good job!
