goat milk, egg yolk, honey and oatmeal

Oops! How did I miss this?

They're all nice but I love the rosewater and saffron one. That is a great looking soap with the colors and nicely textured top.

Thanks! I worried how saffron will look :)

I assume the rose water didn't actually scent your soap, right ?

For the saffron, it may be even prettier as a thin layer instead of mixing it into the soap.

You right, rose water scent didn't stick, i think maybe if i rebatch some soaps, try to add rose water and see if it works

I think that's a good idea to rebatch with rose water. I wondered how well the the rose water made it through saponification. Lye can be destructive to many additives, etc. It will be interesting to hear how it turns out for you.

Rose smell didn't survive the lye :) I let you know how it works with rebatch

lovely, gorgeous, chunky soaps! i've never seen a soap with egg yolk in it, but i've heard rumor of it. how cool!

Thank you so much, i saw your soaps, they are great, so it's double pleasure to hear from you nice words.
Yolk is good for skin, i took a chance to add it in soap, but be brave if you do , it stinks! Now much less, after 3 weeks curing :)

what say we make a 'stinky soap', room-temp goat's milk, egg yolk, neem oil...

You got me thinking of different things to add to my soap....love the rose water and saffron...pretty color...did you get the pink from the rose water?

No rose water is clear, added soap coloring, actually next time i want to rebatch with rose water, otherwise smell doesn't stick , lye kills it.
