My Rose soap always seizes or goes to trace way to quick. I have tried different color additives and has not made any difference. Could it be my Wild Rose Fragrance oil. Here is my recipe and would love some feedback. My master batch I use for all my recipes of which I don't have any problems with. My master batch has the following,

23 ounces of Vegetable Shortening
10 ounces of Coconut Oil
10 ounces of Olive Oil
1 ounces of Shea Butter

2 lbs. 12oz Master batch
13.5 oz. water
6.2 oz lye
2 oz. Rose essential oil pink oxide pigment

Same recipe - just make the soap in a stainless steel pot or a slow cooker, get it to trace and then heat it up. It will cook in the pot, then you let it cool down and put in the FO.

It's really best to look at a few videos of HP just so you can actually see how it will look. Just search for Hot Process and have a look at a couple.

Bear in mind that swirling and so on won't work very well and you won't have such a smooth soap. You don't pour HP, you spoon it in to the moulds.
