So i went out and bought freezer paper and generic saran wrap.

I also bought bubble wrap: feeling adventurous :D

Do you guys throw away the freezer paper after each use or can you wipe and reuse?

I guess it wouldn't be a problem to wipe and reuse if all the scents actually off. So basically that's my question, does it all wipe off?

I wipe and reuse my freezer paper a few times. If it gets ratty looking and I'm too lazy to change the paper, I just wipe it down with a little almond oil.

Hmm - I hadn't even thought about reusing freezer paper - which means that no - I just toss mine out.....

Cheers
Lindy

It depends on which mold I use. If I use my misty creek mold I don't reuse because I cut the soap with the freezer paper and it's not reusable, but if it's in another slab or in my log, then yes, I can get about 3 sometimes 4 if I push it out of 1 sheet of freezer paper...

yes, because normally there is just the smallest of residue left after unmolding the soap. Rarely if ever is there anything more than just a film on the paper.

nope...but... now that you bring it up i WILL! :)

i try to reuse as much as possible...strange this just hasnt crossed my mind ! lol

I've had a couple of weeks to think about these things

Although the molds I bought don't need to be lined but I may make another one later and put it in a loaf mold.
