Heya all!

I have been making soap off and on for a few years now. I had been a member when I was first starting out and then my life blew up and I was not able to make any soap or be on the forums for a while. I have been feeling the itch to make some more soap with the weather getting cooler finally (I am in New Hampshire). I am hoping to be able to be able to get a few batches of soap made in the next few weeks.

I have not really looked on the forums or soaping channels in a while, and there seem to be a whole bunch of new techniques out there! I may have to see about trying some of the different options out there now :)

Welcome back Tarren, can't remember your name 'badger'. Hope you enjoy coming back to soaping :). I'm in Australia and our spring has just started, so just warming up here after a very cold winter.

Thank you for the warm welcome (no pun intended ;-) ) Summer is just ending for me.. I have a hard time convincing myself to do much when we have 95 degree Fahrenheit weather not counting the humidity. So, the cooler temperatures always gets me wanting to start soaping again!

Tarren found your old name of Badger, I can merge both accounts and you can have your old name back if you wish or keep this name. You can only have one identity on SMF. Your account under the name of Badger is still active.

Yes, if you can do that, I would appreciate it!

Thank you :)

Welcome back, Badger. I too have recently returned and you're correct, techniques have changed. I've read here of things not heard of before or forgotten after a few years of inactivity. Great place to learn/catch up/advance. Strictly a hobbyist, like you, so can experiment for fun! Looking forward to cooler weather myself here in North Florida.
