Had all my kids here and their neighbor friends came over at the same time. Rushed to finish with 9 3-10 year olds. (No they weren't in the kitchen).
Had a nice column pour attempt again and grabbed my bottle of white colored titanium dioxide instead of my white Soap and started pouring until I realized how bright it was. Scooped out what I could and kept going.
Had to blend it the nicest I could and make a design. :/

I also know better than to use similar containers from now on. I like 15 oz bullett style bottles for my colors and to pour with.

Blackberry jam scent.

That is a failed attempt? It is so pretty, can understand that you had lots of distraction, but I would be thrilled with the outcome.

WOW! I wish I could pull off something that pretty. Way to go!!! Maybe I need distraction... I work better under pressure.

Thanks.
Yeah its supposed to not be so blended and can't really see the colors of dark dark plum, peach, white and light pink.
It is pretty i guess in a different way than planned, but has more brown tint for blackberry. Lol. Worked so hard to find something with no vanilla so I wouldn't have brown so a tad ironic.

If u want to do it.. Just do a column pour and then take your spatula and run it back and forth lengthwise. Did this to mix it as neatly as possible and realized it fidnt mix too much and was ok in looks. Then did a mantra type swirl going the other direction with my fat stick to really pull it since it was starting to go to med trace by then.

it might not be as colorful as you intended, but it is still very beautiful! It's very...classy looking. Ombre is so popular right now, and this kind of reminds me of that.

Anytime I try something new I have stress issues...lol...I tried to split a batch last night and HP 1/3 of it for a floral scent in a smaller mold and almost forgot to add the scent for the 2/3 I was trying to CP. Anyway, I find that for me it's a lot easier to have ONLY what I'm using at the moment on the table/counter. I can totally see myself accidentally grabbing the wrong container and pouring. I had stuff set out for 2 different batches of soap and should have just had the stuff for one. In the clutter and stress I forgot the scent until I had started pouring my first color. I had to scoop it out, split the scent between the 3 colors and try to pour before my batter got any thicker...lol

Jenneelk, I get what you mean. I saw your soap and thought, "Holy Cow! What an excellent chocolate/caramel type soap!" Then I saw your FO. I often don't make the soap match the FO but I did wonder about the jam. I'm sorry you didn't get the colors you wanted out of it but it is a fabulous swirl- really really excellent! I love them when they are that fine.

It is pretty now that im over losing my column pour.
lol It's one of those where you didn't get what you wanted so unhappy at first. I might try to do it again just to see if I can. :)

And the blackberry color came out some when I got rid of the ash. Still a lot of brown though.
