Red colorant of some sort

What do you all use for colorant in peppermint soap? I would really love to get a bright red color to swirl with.

I would also really like to buy a dark christmas green colorant of some sort for coloring cedar soap. Does anyone know of good dark green for cold procces? I still have not found a good red either :cry: Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated!

I really like, and have had no issues with, regular powdered oxides.....my FARMHOUSE APPLE CP GM soap (red AND green) came out wonderfully.

my oxides always turn out marron not red. which one do you use to get a nice red?

I use neon red from tbk mixed with just a tiny bit of brick red.

I like oxides and micas for color. TKB sells both. Just check the "details" to be sure they are stable and non-bleeding.

I love my mica's (and oxides) from tkb, and a little goes a LONG way. :wink:
