Hello I'm new to soap making, haven't made my first batch yet, right now I'm reading and watching everything I can find on the subject. I have a couple of questions that I can't find answers to.
When you use make shift molds (things around the house), how do you know how much soap to make to fit in those molds?
Same question if you buy actual molds, how do you know which recipes to use to fit in the mold exactly?
I've seen some supply web sites that provide recipes to fit the molds they sell but since I'm just starting out I don't want to spend a bunch of money on really nice molds just yet until I decide what I actually need/want.
