My basic soap recipe is as follows
30% CO
30% PO
30% OO
10% Castor

I am considering buying the Olive/Rice Bran 50/50 blend from Soaper's Choice. Can I just sub this blend for the 30% OO?

Thanks!

Your base recipe is very cleansing, I would find it way to drying. I would switch it up a bit.

OO 40%
Palm 30%
CO 20%
castor 10%

The 50/50 blend is find, just make sure you split the oils on soapcalc. This is what I would do with the blended oil.
Palm 30%
OO 20%
Rice bran 20%
CO 20%
castor 10%

I too would find your recipe way to drying. I never use CO more than 25% with a higher superfat. I would just run it through a soap calc to make sure you have the right amount of lye for your recipe.
