Hello all.
I just joined last night and thought I would say hello.

I am a sahm of 3 (4, 2.5, 3months) and started going natural with my last pregancy and want to refine my skills.

I have started with body butters and my mom loves them so much she wants to buy some for friends for christmas. So, I am going forward trying to make better products.

I made a jelly cleanser from a book from the lib that has been great.

I made an oil in water emulsion or the other way around--whichever is the one that doesn't have chemicals or stuff....just used borax.

Anyways. I have shea butter and a few carrier oils and a few FO and EO and have about 150 worth of EOs (from a coop) coming to make my own scents and lotions/butters and lip butters

I currently have no plans on making my own soap--lye scares me....especially with my little ones...but I am sure once they are older and I have conquered my current endevors, I will move on to a new challenge....just seems too complicated for me right now!

welcome!!!! :)

You sound quite the busy sahm, with all those little ones how do you find time for yourself!??!?!! :)

You know that you can make melt-n-pour soap which does not require any lye to be used ! :)

just order bricks of soap base, melt them down...add color, scent, etc... and pour into a mold...hours later...soap is ready to be unmolded...after a short cure...good to go! :):)
