I REALLY wanted to buy 2-5 of these: http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/Pr ... +Mold+0501

Been waiting patiently for tomorrow's paycheck since I found them, read about them, read reviews on them...and now they are out of stock for over another MONTH!!!! Grrrr....and I am SO DONE with my PVC pipe molds. I was looking forward to many perfect soap loafs over the next couple of weeks. Had a big budget planned for more oils and new EOs/FOs, additives, etc.

Boo.

Oooooooh... I want one of those!
Wonder if I could find something comparable locally?

I saw these very very small silicone molds at the $1 store today.. They were sized for about 1 bar of soap. Very cute but I was afraid they'd be too flimsy.

Yeah, these have thicker walls and have EXCELLENT reviews....hmph. I guess I'll sock away my budgeted funds and wait patiently some more. I am starting homeschooling with my 1st grader next week so I guess I will just busy myself with preparation of that.

Yes, those are nice. I had to wait for it when I was ready to get it also, I guess they sell fast. I ordered one, and after using it the first time, I immediately reordered another one before they ran out again.... They are worth the wait.

Well thats good to know it is worth the wait. I requested email notification for when it restocks.

I have it and really like it... but I'm bummed, it's 2mo old and when I just unmolded a batch 10min ago I noticed it's totally cracked in a corner. I'm going to e-mail them and see if this is normal, if so I won't be getting any more as I would assume one should be able to get more than 2mo of light use out of it....

I know they have them other places, but free shipping is nice! are you getting free ship with that?

I have a mold very like that from Superstore (Canada) it cost me about five bucks. I was very pleased. It's not as well reenforced but it hasn't failed me. Actually I have a number of silicone mold from Superstore. They may be for baking but they beat price and shipping from any soap site.

Oh! Wow. Well let us know what they say...I definitely expect more than 2 months of use out of a mold.

They're supposed to give me a call Monday (I chatted with customer service). I just noticed that it has a smaller crack in 2 other corners as well. I have made exactly 14 batches in it... $1/batch, I guess :? . I'll let you all know what they say after I talk to them. :)

I just wanted to mention that since these silicone molds are so cheap and easy for my to acqure I can certainly get some for anyone and I can mail them to you.

I love these molds! I just checked and they'll be back in stock on 2/5!

They are so worth the wait!
I got 10 of them when they first came out.
Never had a problem with them, soap comes out so easy. Perfectly smooth.

Wow! Thanks for posting! I think I will just order 2 and see how it goes for a while. I found a box that will be great as another mold anyway (in case I have to make more before I unmold the other :D ) so maybe I can spread out the usage.

And thanks Deda for sharing...I hope evat's experience was a fluke (and that they rectify that for you!) and they work out...I would love to stop messing around with lining!

They are really playing with my emotions now...availability date has been changed to 3/10....bah.

No kidding...I was going to go ahead and order a couple more this week!

I said I would update as soon as I had talked to someone. :) It took a little while but everyone I spoke to was very friendly and after describing my problem they did agree that it sounds like mine was defective and once they get back in stock they will replace it. Top notch customer service, and I do love the mold and will be buying a few more now that I am a little more certain that it was a fluke with this one cracking. :)
