Rasta soap that the bf wanted me to make. Already very popular amongst many friends. Tried taiwan swirl for the top. The dividers lifted when I poured the batter, but it didn't turn out too badly.... Scented with lemongrass, sw orange and patchouli eos

Second one is from yesterday. Scented with peppermint, sw basil and lavender eos. Tried hanger swirl. Again, disappointment. Didn't swirl at all! :(

Last one is a citrus blend, orange, grapefruit and lemon. I was going for yellow, pink and orange ITP swirl. This is what it turned out to be - beige with a hint of pink. Very disappointing. oh, this is my 3rd ITP swirl fail. I think the soap gods are telling me this swirl isn't for me.....

Sorry for the bad cellhpone pics...

YOur rasta soap turned out great! You and I should trade ITP bombs, but you wouldn't know the difference because mine looks just like yours but in an upright shape. SAme colors too. I was going for creamy white with a peachy pink and got beige with these skinny little whiffs of orangey pink. It's enough to drive a person mad. And I just had a pour like your second one. The colors are all nice and layered but it was too thick and you can't really tell a swirl was attempted. That's okay in the end because the soap still looks good, just layered, but I know what you mean about being frustrated when you swirl and there's no swirl! I still like your soap though because I don't have your inner eye to know what was expected. ;)

I think they're all pretty! I love the Rasta one. :)

With the hangar swirl, did you try making the "swirling surface" of your hangar thicker? I taped a chopstick to mine with plastic tape, because the wire in itself was too thin to really affect the batter much. Made a world of difference!

awesome! thanks for the tip!! I was trying to think of ways to get the hanger thicker and the batter less thick (lol!)....dunno why I didn't think about a chopstick! guess i'll have to try hanger swirl again... hopefully it works this time.
