Just wondering...has anyone tried this as a possible colorant? I'm here reading about dandelion; I'm planning on trying out daffodil flowers any day now...but the freezer has some hand picked berries from last summer and being I'm not keeping ice cream in the house anymore (no self control!) I'm here wondering if I added them in as half the liquid at trace if I'd POSSIBLY having something attractive to look at after saponification....and I'm not expecting soap the color of a red raspberry...but I wouldn't say no to a darker red/purple! Even a pink would be once....as I said, just wondering....

As Obsidian said, it'll turn brown. And just be aware that daffodils can be toxic to ingest and may cause skin irritations. If you or anyone who you may gift the soaps to have sensitive skin, I wouldn't use it just to be safe.
