I made my first real lotion tonight and it turned out amazing... I love it! It's for my face, made with avocado oil. It soaks in and feels like silk. This is very promising.

And just after that my NDA order arrived, so now I have cetyl alcohol, sodium lactate, palm oil, seaweed powder, ultramarine for my planned blue ombre soap and more castor oil (I was totally out, boo). Unpacking all the goodies feels like Christmas.

I would like to do something really nice with the seaweed powder and the dead sea salt I got last time, any suggestions? I am thinking facial mask... but not sure. I also want to do a facial scrub. Have plenty of body scrubs already.

I still have to decide how to scent the blue ombre soap, I want ocean scent and I haven't come to a decision on how to do that yet. I sure don't want to wait to order anything else!

Unfortunately I ran out of shea butter which is one of the oils in my shampoo bar, so I have to try a new recipe without it, but with the palm oil. But who cares as long as I get to make more soap!

If you have M&P base, seaweed powder and dead sea salt would make a great M&P bar.

I don't... but does anyone have a recommendation for a good SLS free one in Canada? I have some moulds that would make for fun embeds.

I bought one from Bulk Apothecary once and I found it too drying... so I immediately switched to CP.

Try Saffire Blue. I have some SLS free and it's not drying IMO.
