Hi,
I am fairly novice at soap making. I use brambleberry and some other sites to get recipes from since I am still learning. A lot of BB recipes call for the Basic QM, Lots of Later QM, Swirl QM, etc. I was wondering if anyone had recipes to use in place of that? I dont like the idea of having to buy QM to make a recipe I want to try.

I don’t know what recipes you’re trying, but keep in mind that if you’re doing something with designs, then it gets a bit tricky making CP soap and controlling trace so that it’s mixed enough but not too thick. It will depend a lot on the recipe.

That being said, as far as I’m concerned, all the fun is making the base soap 😊 designs are for future me to figure out

Lol, I tried googling that before I came here and posted about it and nothing came up. I figured they’d have something. I don’t know why I couldn’t find it. Thank you!!

Yes I agree, I really enjoy making the soap base that’s why I’m not really fond of buying BB Quick Mix products. I’d rather make my own bases if possible. That’s why I reached out to see if anyone had any suggestions.
