Ok, so I've done a few simple batch's just to get the main process down and now I'm looking into adding FO's. I used to make candles long ago and still have many of them now. Most have to be around 5+ years old though, however they smell great still! (dark colored bottles and kept in a cool dark place) I've researched the manufactures website as to whether they are skin safe and to what % max can be added. My question is for FO's so old would there be any adverse side effects that I don't know about for use on the skin? Obviously I'll start off with small batches and see how that goes. I also have a few color "chips" that were also used in candle making and was curious if I cut slivers off and added them to the oils as they are heating up if they would also work. Just starting out so I don't want to buy a lot of stuff if what I have will work already! Not looking to sell anything, more for gift giving with the Holiday's approaching. The 2 sites I purchased from were bittercreek.com and cajuncandles.com if that helps any. Thanks guys, learning so much from reading as much as I can on this forum! Wonderful to have a place that has so much information!
