Does the regular cocoa butter affect any scents in CP? I usually use the deodorized but never used the regular.

I've used non-deodarized CB. I think it can leave a slight scent, dependent on the percentage of oils used. I wouldn't say it scents the soap, but I can detect a whiff in certain recipes. Some people don't smell it at all. It's not a substantial smell, at any rate.

I soap it at 48% of oils, and no - no lasting chocolate scent. I get a hint of it when the soap is fresh from the mold, but it doesn't last through the cure.

I use a high percentage of CB in my soap and don't add any FO. I can detect what I describe as a very mild "sweet" scent to the soap but no lasting cocoa scent

I was wondering this same thing. I use it in lotion bars and I can smell it in those. But I guess it would be pretty much like anything that is mixed with lye.
