I have a friend who will be having a knee replacement in June. She loves soaking in the tub, so I thought I'd make her some salts and give bubble bars a try. I've seen people make bath bombs using a moon cake mold/press

Those of you who have made bubble bars, do you think they could be made with something like this, or is the dough too soft and sticky to get them to release well.

I might have to try bath bombs instead.

Thanks Navigator! That's one of the videos I saw that got me thinking about using that kind of press for bubble bars. I found out that there is a FB group 'moon cake cult', and it says on their page that it is for making bath bombs and bubble bars using it. So I think it will work. I'll give it a try. Have to get the stuff still, including the press.
