Pug Fundraiser

Hi,
The rescue that I got my little old man from - Homeward Bound Pug Rescue in Norman Oklahoma- is having their annual big fundraiser in October. I am putting together some baskets of homemade soap to donate for their raffle tables. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in donating anything homemade? If I am out of line asking, please delete this post. Even single bars of soap would be great for the smaller raffles and they are doing some sort of wheel game for the smaller raffle items. Your donation would be tax deductable. The rescue website is www.homewardboundpugs.com and you can read about the fundraiser there. If anyone does want to donate they can send the item to me and I can mail it down with all of the stuff I am sending.

i have a pug and am planning on going to the one that goes on in atlanta, i will see if they need stuff too. what a great idea Pug mom!

Excellent! The rescues are really hurting in this economy....people are cutting back on donations. What event is in Atlanta?

You guys are the best! I have already received some PMs too of people willing to help... I will PM you the address of the person collecting the stuff for October. Puggerfest is October 10th...

awww! he is so cute! we used to have a black pug. he was the first of his line in our family. for 3 generations we had pugs that were related to him. the last of his line died with my moms pug Pudge. i have a male pug and intend to start a new family line with him. Pugfest happens here outside of atlanta in October also, or it has for the past few years anyways...i need to see when it is this year.

Thanks to anyone that contributed! I just sent my package out today and it was a basket I put together, a basket SimplyE graciously donated (GORGEOUS!!) and some single bars of soap from me... I hope they make a ton of $$ for the Puggies!! Thanks!
