What kind of "shampoo" do you want to make? A soap made from lye and fat used for washing the hair? Or a blend of synthetic detergents?

Have you ever made any kind of solid soap or liquid soap? What fats do you have that you can use for soap making? Can you get sodium hydroxide (for making solid soap) or potassium hydroxide (for liquid soap)?

I make bar soaps. I have access to NaoH and KOH. But I desperately need a guide on liquid soap for bath, laundry and shampoo to expand my knowledge . I have PKO, coconut, olive, lavender

I will be extremely grateful if you assist me and would love to meet you

Kind regards

I do not teach liquid soap making, but here are some tutorials you may want to try --

I recommend that people do NOT use the method of dissolving KOH in hot glycerin as she describes in the first part of Step 3. Read and follow her directions in RED toward the end of Step 3 where she explains how to dissolve KOH in room temperature water. Much easier and safer.

Lye-based soap for washing dishes and clothes -- make liquid soap or bar soap using 100% coconut oil.

Lye-based soap for hair -- Damages many people's hair. Not recommended. See What makes a soap a soap and a shampoo a shampoo?

I think the best Shampoo is using a squeeze bottle and fill it 1/3 of the bottle with Baking Soda and 2/3 the bottle with distilled water and shake it until well mixed. Leave in shower to use when needed. Rinse well, then Condition with either White Vinegar or APC. Massage into hair and scalp. Rinse out after a couple of minutes.
