Poppyseeds, anyone else have this trouble?

I made some lemon scented soap and used poppyseeds. None of my soap leaves my home without it being tested out and my test didn't go so well. The poppyseeds scratched horribly. Of course, it was my first time using poppyseeds :roll: Has anyone else had this problem with poppyseeds before?

No, I didnt use that much, and I added mine at thick trace.

Thanks for you reply. I'm having the hardest time figuring out what the problem is. I do have sensitive skin but this literally scratches

Try putting in less.. like 1 tsp per pound instead of 1TBL spoon per pound.. It may make a big difference.

When adding any scrubbies to soap, it really does not take much so it is best to be very conservative with your amounts.

I add a teaspoon of seeds to about 4# of sugar scrub & love it. A little does go a long way!
