Pomace Olive Oil

Anyone have experience with Pomace Olive Oil? This time when I started adding the lye water it came to trace before I had all the lye water added. I added the rest anyway and stirred it well and plopped it into a mold. The soap suds nicely and seems to be good soap, but when I cut it, the free lye oozes out. If I rebatch it should I add more fats? Thanks for any help. 60Countrygirl.

your recipe and temps soaped at is needed.. Pomace olive oil is not the problem..

ck to see if it is pomace or a mixture of oils ( sometimes in fine print you find other oils are involved )

It could be adultarated olive oil.

I haven't had problems with pomace but the SAP number is slightly different than grade A or B olive oil according to soap calc so I run the recipe through just to be sure.
