This is so addictive, I need to start making tiny little batches so that I can play with the colors and practice swirling without ending up with enough soap to build a fort out of. As is, I'm making 2lb batches, so I'll soon have a lifetime supply of soap for our family.
Tonight's batch might turn out neat, it's scented with the Osmanthus FO from Tradewinds. The reviewers on the scent review forum said that it's not true to the scent of the flowers, but that it's still a nice scent, so I'm giving it a shot.
The color I mixed up uses the False Blue Select Shades color, so it went a really odd color in the mixing container, and turned a seriously weird color in the raw soap. I knew that it was supposed to look "off" and that it was going to change, but it was still kind of funny.
Right now, it's this color:
and it should end up more pinkish with a slightly darker swirl/marble under that top layer, we shall see how that goes, lol.
