My first round of pine tar soap did not go perfectly. I experienced a soap on a stick and glopped it in as best as possible.
Good soap, just ugly. Been curing about a month.
I do see where I went wrong with temp/over sb'ing.
So now my question is (math is not my strong suit) - if I have two pounds of soap shreds - how do I calculate a recipe to utilize those and how much pine tar should I add (I added 4oz to 5 pounds, don't remember where I got that # on the amount of pine tar )
Thank you any help is appreciated. My mom's favorite soap was grandpa's pine tar, and I thought it would be a nice gift to give to each of my siblings.
