Pine tar in lotion?

I've been having some skin issues and would like to add a little pine tar to already made lotion. It will be a small amount of lotion, 1/4 cup or less and it will be stored in the fridge so not worried about it messing up the preservative. What would be a good percentage of PT to add? I was thinking 3-5%.

I'm not sure, but I seem to recall Kevin Devine doing a video on PT balms and lotions. He normally discusses his entire recipe. I'd post the link, but I'm on the mobile app.

I think I'll try adding a little to my body butter instead of the lotion. I'll try 5% and see how it is.
