I am simply giddy with my latest soap in my new TOG mold and am dying to post pics, but I must have flunked "picture attachment 101". HELP! I really am "usually" fairly computer savy  . I even have them resized and ready to go.

Yes, I am a dork!!! TIA!

When you are posting, look just below the window that you are typing in. There will be a line there saying 'get your own uploader' and an empty box with a 'browse' button next to it. Below that, there is a button that says 'host it!'.

Click on the 'host it' button, that will take you to the imageshack.us website. Use the browse button to find the image you want and select it. Once you have found the image that you want, click on the 'host it' button at the bottom of that window. It will take a few seconds, but you will then get an option of a couple of different urls. Pick one, copy it & paste it into the window that you type in when posting.

click on the 'submit' button and Voila! (I had to post one to make sure that telling you how to do it right  )

So, as clear as mud? LOL

(edited several times to get the instructions right  )

  Just had to get help last week for the same thing.

Another option is Photobucket.com. I found it to be easy. In the message body, click the small box above that says "Img" twice. Good thing I am looking directly at it.

You will get in the dialog box. In another window, open Photobucket, click on the "direct link" below the pic you wish to post. It will be copied onto your clip board at that time and a yellow box appears on the screen to tell you that. Then, switch back to the forum window.

Put the cursor between the two bracketed sets, and paste the copied url. Notice that the second one includes / which signifies the "end".

You have posted a pic. In your message body, it will appear as an url, but click "preview" (next to "submit") to see how it will appear in the forum. There are probably several ways to do it, hope one works for you.

Becky - I had to test it too.

I had the same question. I made some soap that turned out really well .. scented it with chocolate and made it so it looks like a square of fudge. Thanx for the tutorial!!
