The Castille soap that was so soft has now set up nicely and I cut the flowers out today. The 2nd batch that I made with the stick blender is nice and firm so I sliced that up too. The stick blender did unfortunately incorporate some air into it. I used a very wide bowl so I'll try a narrower deeper bowl next time. These soaps are both nice and firm now but still quite sticky to touch. I guess they'll have to have a long cure.

Pink is from pink clay, scented with peppermint and lavender EOs, it smells so divine. My first proper swirl.

This one is uncoloured, the olive oil was very green. I think that's why it's got a greenish tinge to it. Scented with some Tea tree EO.

Thanks for looking!

Very pretty :) Love your swirl.

The olive oil ones will most likely whiten up over time.

Very nice!

Was the firs one done in a tube mold?

No, I poured it into a big square cake tin then I just cut out the flowers with a cookie cutter.

they're lovely!! what a great idea! Curious...what'd you do with the leftover soap after cutting?

Thanks!

Some of the leftover bits were big enough to cut into little rectangular soaps. The rest I tried to rebatch but that didn't work so well, I suck at rebatching. I made a HP soap last night that I sliced up and cut some shapes out of. Those leftover bits I grated, sprayed lightly with water and shaped into soap balls. Saw that on the millersoap website I think. That seemed to work quite well. Much better than the rebatching. I'll reserve judgement until I see how they dry out though.

Your soaps look absolutely gorgeous, and I'm so tempted to make some cookies now
