Thats great! How long have you been making & selling your soap?

We have only been making soap since this past Jan. It has been a real learning experience. We have learned a lot from the boards, but we have not found anyone that makes soap from biodiesel glycerin. Everyone on the boards that makes soaps have been very helpful!

Wow - that's fantastic!!! Good for you!

I'm so envious. :)

May I ask how large your bars are? And in that one pic, what are, and where did you get those white tubs you store the soaps in?

Thanks and much success!

Great job!! Thanks for the pics!
How well did the soap trays sell? I was thinking about bringing them in myself....

Very nice set-up! I love your displays. 8) Sounds like you had a great day of sales. What do you price point your soap in your area, if I may inquire?

answers to a few questions

The soap dishes sell great for $3.00 each. PM me for the contact for the dishes. I buy them for .95 cents each. The white trays that we dry our soap in are from the local pizza supply house. They are dough trays they stack real nice. They run about 6.-7.00 a tray. That is also how we transport wrapped bars to shows and farmers markets etc. They hold 64 of our bars for The bars are 5-oz bars.
Thank you, the display is all my wife! I'm going to make some shelves to give us some height and more room.
The bars sell for
Un scented $2.00
scented bars $2.50
scented with shea or olive oil $2.75
Then the wife does a deal for three of each
$5.00 un scented
$6.50 scented
$7.25 scented with she or olive oil
Now, remember that we do not have the high oil cost like other soap makers. We get our glycerin from making biodiesel.
Look forward to hearing back from you guys.
Jason
