Made a batch tonight, never even got my hand mixer in!

I added the fo to my cooled oils and it was controllable, but I only stirred it for a short time with a wooden spoon (and I did use 30% PO) but definately a very fast trace!

Cut it tonight, doesn't smell very much like anything. I used .7 ppo.
Hope some more fragrance may come thru as it cures..

Spices often accelerate trace :(

Did you check the soap scent review board?

The SRB post for this fragrance http://soapscentreview.obisoap.ca/search.php?fid[]=35 states that the soaper experienced no acceleration - so I gotta wonder if you soaped hot. (She also said nice scent, but not much pumpkin - so hang in there and see what happens).

She did post her review in 2006, though, and it's entirely possible it was reformulated since then!

Thank you, carebear- didn't even know this review board existed, good stuff!

Not much experience here, but still- I've never had a faster trace. I actually soaped pretty cool, (100) anticipating A.
The good news is, the soap looks fine, and I do think the fragrance is starting to come thru a bit, I can smell it more than I did yesterday. It smells faintly spicy.

I love that scent! I can't remember having any problems with it. I didn't adjust my lye concentration, just used Soapcalc's values.
