Packaging Round Soap

If I decide to use a paper wrapper, such as a coffee filter, do I have to wrap the soap (CP) in some kind of plastic wrap first or will the paper be okay. I thought of possible buying cake rounds which have a coating like deli paper.

I use coffee filters for my round shaped soaps and do not wrap them in plastic first and they work just fine. I do not use paper that has a wax coating.

I wrap my round soaps in coffee filters as well. No plastic needed.

Mine are wrapped in deli wrap paper and not in plastic.
