I have a recipe that did not fully gel (faint round circle in the middle). I had thought about putting it in a warm oven, turning it off when I put the soap in. I'd like everyones thoughts about this. The soap has sit wrapped in a towel for 24 hours.

Yep, works well. Put it back in the mold and then leave it in the oven for an hour at 170-190 degrees. Depending on how old the soap is, it will either eliminate the ring entirely or leave just a shadow of it.

I think the results can vary, but it won't make matters worse. At the very least, the parts of the soap that didn't gel will firm up and be more like the parts that did gel. I count that a win, even if the bullseye doesn't entirely disappear.
